Marcial Mingo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Paralia Athens fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Paralia Athens's Mike Cai looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Celso Sancho hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Taibo in the 10th minute of play forced Hortensia FCG's goalkeeper Marcial Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ke Zhou Yuan scored 0-3 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Mingo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Pastor Loramendi in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paralia Athens's Petru Văidianu. Eulalio Iturri hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Virgil Olariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Hulberto in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Hortensia FCG defense, Mike Cai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Mingo. The Hortensia FCG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Mingo should have stopped the shot. Marcial Mingo came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Paralia Athens's Ke Zhou Yuan. But to his dismay, Ke Zhou Yuan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 28 minutes into the game, Pastor Loramendi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paralia Athens's Petru Văidianu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 30 minutes into the game, Paralia Athens's Mike Cai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Mingo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After 33 minutes, Mike Cai made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Hortensia FCG's Marcial Mingo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Paralia Athens's Mike Cai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Virgil Olariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Hulberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The wind increased when Mike Cai made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Esteban Raebert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hortensia FCG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Raebert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hortensia FCG's Marcial Mingo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Hortensia FCG from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Cai in the 64th minute of play forced Hortensia FCG's goalkeeper Marcial Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Paralia Athens getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Petru Văidianu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hortensia FCG's zone, Mike Cai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Mingo came out of the goal and Mike Cai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costel Neagoe kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Mike Cai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Hortensia FCG defense, Gürkan Akaydın kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Mingo. The Hortensia FCG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Mingo should have stopped the shot. Mike Cai scored 0-11 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcial Mingo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paralia Athens played a much better game than Hortensia FCG and deserved their victory. The Hortensia FCG players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
