Erasmo Ixona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from James Tuck in the 9th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Isadore. In the 18th minute Timoteo Evis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gul Keep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Garlic Eaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Hammond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gul Keep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Marlin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Ixona should have stopped the shot. Erasmo Ixona made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Robert Hammond sent off a good shot on target. Pablo Orti hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Gul Keep showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Derwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Bruninho Falcão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Jon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gul Keep having to interfere.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gul Keep prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
