With a little luck, Montevideo's Wincent Jaworski got control of the ball when Oğuzalp Şahinhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dagoberto Loyolas short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Tamer Siraceddin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute Oğuzalp Şahinhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Jaworski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Los Tatangelos fully deserved thier win.
