Buffalo Timişoara's Stormur Muren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero de Castro in the 18th minute of play. Silas Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Zbora's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Adrian Zbora sped through Federales FC Ψ OFF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silas Bastos. Adrian Zbora had several of the Federales FC Ψ OFF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Silas Bastos as he didn't even see the shot coming. Adrian Zbora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silas Bastos having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Becker in the 26th minute of play forced Federales FC Ψ OFF's goalkeeper Silas Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 27 in the game by Adrian Zbora from a close distance when the talented Silas Bastos managed to make a qualified save. Federales FC Ψ OFF's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Federales FC Ψ OFF's Antônio Carlos Galvan got a free kick in the 30th minute. Silas Bastos came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Timişoara's Aurelian Sucigan. But to his dismay, Aurelian Sucigan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Antônio Carlos Galvan scored 4-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stormur Muren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 44 minutes, Adrian Zbora made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Federales FC Ψ OFF's Silas Bastos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Zbora to make the kick off.
