ForestFire's Milo Blanco suffered a concussion in the 4th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 4 minutes into the match, Federales FC Ψ OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Milo Blanco came free, but Silas Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teofilo Quiroga charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilo Quiroga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 4 minutes into the game, one of Federales FC Ψ OFF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Silas Bastos came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by ForestFire's Cary Griggs. But to his dismay, Cary Griggs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hal Bonilla kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Antônio Carlos Galvan might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wes Gillespie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antônio Carlos Galvan ran back to his position shaking his head. After 17 played minutes Federales FC Ψ OFF got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Panpili. 18 minutes into the match, ForestFire's Cary Griggs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silas Bastos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute Lane Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Cícero de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wes Gillespie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silas Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuan Zimmerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Cícero de Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ForestFire's Wes Gillespie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ForestFire's Wes Gillespie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save ForestFire from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the game, Antônio Carlos Galvan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wes Gillespie. Antônio Carlos Galvan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 38th minute, Federales FC Ψ OFF's Antônio Carlos Galvan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wes Gillespie. Wes Gillespie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Sammy Knowles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Bastos having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antônio Carlos Galvan to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Federales FC Ψ OFF got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Panpili. 59 minutes into the match, ForestFire's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero de Castro came free, but Wes Gillespie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cícero de Castro in the 60th minute of play forced ForestFire's goalkeeper Wes Gillespie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Angelo Gaskon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Federales FC Ψ OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ForestFire the free kick. In the 61st match minute, Federales FC Ψ OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Gaskon to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Edgardo Courtney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Antônio Carlos Galvan came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Federales FC Ψ OFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Carlos Galvan couldn't finish the play. During the 66th minute of the match Angelo Gaskon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Angelo Gaskon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Courtney in the 72nd minute of play forced Federales FC Ψ OFF's goalkeeper Silas Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Federales FC Ψ OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Courtney came free, but Silas Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wes Gillespie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Galvan in the 76th minute of play. Sammy Knowles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Silas Bastos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 83 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Potts. With a little luck, Federales FC Ψ OFF's Silas Bastos got control of the ball when Sammy Knowles tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Federales FC Ψ OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Burutzagi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of ForestFire's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. ForestFire may have spent more time on the ball, but Federales FC Ψ OFF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
