The audience thought a goal was coming when David De Raeijmaecker got free with Percival Prestes in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Douglas Loosen sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Percival Prestes threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Douglas Loosen this time. Thanks to some nice moves David De Raeijmaecker could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Percival Prestes however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to North Hill United getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Omer Vandamme hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Alfredo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. REAL RIO CRVG's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waut Limpens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, REAL RIO CRVG's goal looked a bit too open when Omer Vandamme came free, but Percival Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes in the game, Omer Vandamme dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willy Vandamme during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Willy Vandamme hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omer Vandamme was the one to do the kick off. Percival Prestes came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by North Hill United's Omer Vandamme. But to his dismay, Omer Vandamme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 54th minute, Omer Vandamme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Percival Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When North Hill United's Omer Vandamme in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye REAL RIO CRVG's goalie prevented a goal. When Douglas Loosen came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the North Hill United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Loosen couldn't finish the play. Percival Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omer Vandamme in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in REAL RIO CRVG's zone, Omer Vandamme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percival Prestes came out of the goal and Omer Vandamme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. North Hill United's Thobias Eli was substituted for Omer Vandamme. 82 minutes into the match, REAL RIO CRVG's goal looked a bit too open when Thobias Eli came free, but Percival Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thobias Eli in the 83rd minute of play forced REAL RIO CRVG's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the REAL RIO CRVG defense, Thobias Eli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percival Prestes. The REAL RIO CRVG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percival Prestes should have stopped the shot. Gláuber Cardozo charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gláuber Cardozo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, REAL RIO CRVG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thobias Eli in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Percival Prestes saved REAL RIO CRVG from getting behind.
