RB Chubut's attentive Juan Sorin managed to snatch the ball when Victorino Perfecto made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Jurand Deput hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gallardo y Biscay FC's Prospero Maju played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Deput in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Jurand Deput shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Advíncula kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Aquiles Orland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Vassenius skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jurand Deput in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Maju prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Prospero Maju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Deput, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Sorin during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gallardo y Biscay FC booed when RB Chubut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Emiliano Frichoso fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gallardo y Biscay FC's protests and gave Emiliano Frichoso a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gallardo y Biscay FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Emiliano Frichoso hit a great ball. Jurand Deput fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Maju having to interfere. RB Chubut's Isaac Mingo was substituted for Jurand Deput. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezequiel Balasi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Mikolas. In the 61st minute, Isaac Mingo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RB Chubut fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Isaac Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Prospero Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Mingo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Bogdan Lenertej managed to get in a good position for a shot. RB Chubut's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Lenertej was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Maju breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Mikolas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Balasi in the 71st minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Robert Vassenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute of the match, Ezequiel Balasi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robert Vassenius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 86th minute, Isaac Mingo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RB Chubut fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Miguel Borja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Robert Vassenius made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. RB Chubut had won after a very even match.
