The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mahmut Torel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Mantorras, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Bentes during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Terceirense F.C.'s Enzo Bentes got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Orhan Enginsoy in the 5th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Robert Enke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Amável Rangel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ALTAY MYTHS's Babür Coşan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robert Enke in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 14 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by António Fontes. The audience was convinced that Pedro Mantorras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mahmut Torel was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Mahmut Torel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Mantorras, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Mahmut Torel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Mantorras went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Mantorras in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mahmut Torel saved ALTAY MYTHS from getting behind. Robert Enke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Orhan Enginsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Çelikan Hızlı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Mantorras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Terceirense F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Mantorras to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Babür Coşan made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Babür Coşan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robert Enke. The goal made the score 2-1. Robert Enke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Babür Coşan in the 57th minute. Terceirense F.C.'s Gregório Moutinho was substituted for Pedro Mantorras. Gregório Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Mahmut Torel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregório Moutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çelikan Hızlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Enke having to interfere. Mahmut Torel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Moutinho in the 83rd minute of play. Gregório Moutinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mahmut Torel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregório Moutinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Mahmut Torel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Moutinho in the 87th minute of play. Gregório Moutinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mahmut Torel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregório Moutinho ran back to his position shaking his head. Remzi Başesgioğlu got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Turgut Tümer. When Rui Vaz fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terceirense F.C.'s protests and gave Rui Vaz a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rui Vaz. Enzo Bentes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. Enzo Bentes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Orhan Üstündağ could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Robert Enke made a huge save. ALTAY MYTHS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
