The audience was convinced that Bonggo Abidin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Desiderio Frederik was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Sporting de Gijón's Desiderio Frederik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonggo Abidin in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Bonggo Abidin came free, but Desiderio Frederik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bonggo Abidin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Desiderio Frederik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonggo Abidin in the 9th minute of the match. When Bleber FC's Bonggo Abidin in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sonny Sugiarto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonggo Abidin in the 24th minute of play forced Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Desiderio Frederik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Desiderio Frederik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonggo Abidin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Bonggo Abidin came free, but Desiderio Frederik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the Sporting de Gijón and the Bleber FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sporting de Gijón getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gustavo Quintin hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Bonggo Abidin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bleber FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Sporting de Gijón booed when Bleber FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nadjib Juhana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Blas-Armando Giunta made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sporting de Gijón's Gustavo Quintin got a free kick in the 55th minute. Bleber FC's Taro Sayapin was substituted for Jaya Muharam. Sporting de Gijón's Lautaro Blanco was substituted for Gustavo Quintin. 64 minutes in the game Lautaro Blanco did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Arnoldo Ubarna. Desiderio Frederik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonggo Abidin in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Bleber FC got a corner. Sporting de Gijón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hamka Ariwibowo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hamka Ariwibowo made a great header on Bleber FC's corner, it was just that Sporting de Gijón's Desiderio Frederik managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Sporting de Gijón getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Lautaro Blanco hit a great ball. Desiderio Frederik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonggo Abidin in the 71st minute of the match. Bleber FC made a substitution. Coky Sudarno replaced Bonggo Abidin. In the 75th minute Bleber FC were awarded a corner. Hamka Ariwibowo went to the cornerflag to take it. Bleber FC's Hamka Ariwibowo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Desiderio Frederik in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting de Gijón's zone, Coky Sudarno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Frederik came out of the goal and Coky Sudarno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sonny Sugiarto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas-Armando Giunta, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Coky Sudarno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Ezequiel Fernández hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, Coky Sudarno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Desiderio Frederik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 91 played minutes Bleber FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilang Oktavianus. Sonny Sugiarto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas-Armando Giunta in the 93rd minute of the match. Desiderio Frederik was a little too slow when Coky Sudarno got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-4.
