HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 15 minutes, Rigoberto Clemencin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quitilipi and the HIT Gorica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Quitilipi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Clemencin to maneuver through the defense. Istok Šabotić took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guaberto Cebo. Guaberto Cebo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. With a little luck, Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo got control of the ball when Istok Šabotić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Istok Šabotićs short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Guaberto Cebo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Istok Šabotić to strike the kick off in the second half. Quitilipi's Guaberto Cebo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Istok Šabotić in the 55th minute of play.
