Buffalo Bills's Piotr Diepgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatko Goričan in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Buffalo Bills's goal looked a bit too open when Istok Šabotić came free, but Piotr Diepgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Istok Šabotić made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Istok Šabotić got free with Piotr Diepgen in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th match minute, Buffalo Bills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jes Brock to maneuver through the defense. HIT Gorica's Richard Koštomaj was substituted for Wlodzimierz Wlodyga. A collision led to Buffalo Bills getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jes Brock hit a great ball. Piotr Diepgen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Gargasz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Buffalo Bills. 90 minutes into the match, Jernej Petrovič had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Piotr Diepgen. Buffalo Bills's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jernej Petrovič was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. HIT Gorica's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
