Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aristides Jorrin got the match started through his kick off. Ultra Copos FC ™'s Sabino Salgueiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Ultra Copos FC ™ from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the game, one of Ultra Copos FC ™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Sabino Salgueiro, was totally fooled by Newton FC's Leopoldo Martxel, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Raul Lage took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Madaleno. Flavio Madaleno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Aristides Jorrin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuno Portugal kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Aristides Jorrin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Jorrin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Newton FC defense, Raul Lage kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Madaleno. The Newton FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Madaleno should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Edgard Eufemio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabino Salgueiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 32 minutes into the game, Raul Lage cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Flavio Madaleno was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 39 played minutes Newton FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Eufemio. Flavio Madaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Lage in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrício Câmara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Flavio Madaleno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrício Câmara in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Newton FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Celso Frisco hit a great ball. Patrício Câmara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Flavio Madaleno having to make a save. After 74 played minutes Newton FC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Froila. When Jairo Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Ultra Copos FC ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Ferreira couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute, Ultra Copos FC ™'s Henrique Morais dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. In the 94th minute, Patrício Câmara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Ultra Copos FC ™ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
