An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Cano in the 18th minute of play forced Palmeiras's goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Augusto Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoforo De Luca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, K.F TIRANA's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Tuste came free, but Branden Shelton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Caio Boldrini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Branden Shelton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cristoforo De Luca scored 2-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Augusto Recife, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Palmeiras's Carlos Augusto Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Cano in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Paco Cano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmeiras's Carlos Augusto Recife was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Caio Boldrini struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Branden Shelton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmeiras. Marsel Spaha hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Caio Boldrini could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Branden Shelton however easily saved by the left post. Carlos Augusto Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincenty Roman in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Palmeiras getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Adriano Cunha hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes, K.F TIRANA's Enkelejd Dervishi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Recife came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in K.F TIRANA reached it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Palmeiras's Nilton Soeiro was substituted for Caio Boldrini. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Tuste to make the kick off. Wincenty Roman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. Palmeiras made a substitution. Rodriguinho Carneiro replaced Artur Fonelleda. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wincenty Roman during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes K.F TIRANA got a freekick which was hit by Wincenty Roman. K.F TIRANA played a much better game than Palmeiras and deserved their victory. The Palmeiras players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
