Clarence Makélélé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Branden Shelton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bruno Lenzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Branden Shelton was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Elvis Durollari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Bruno Lenzi in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bruno Lenzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Branden Shelton having to interfere. The supporters of K.F TIRANA booed when ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Gergori didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Wincenty Roman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Bertoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Lenzi in the 31st minute of play forced K.F TIRANA's goalkeeper Branden Shelton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes, Bruno Lenzi made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. K.F TIRANA's Branden Shelton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Bertoni was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Avram Iorgulescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paco Cano got free with Angelo Bertoni in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Roman Wodaszak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Anselmo Di Martino was substituted for Damiano Sciarra. The wind increased when Cristoforo De Luca made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Clarence Makélélé hit a great ball. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Bruno Lenzi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Branden Shelton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clarence Makélélé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Lenzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branden Shelton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Branden Shelton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Lenzi's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Lenzi in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branden Shelton saved K.F TIRANA from getting behind. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Bruno Lenzi sped through K.F TIRANA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Branden Shelton. Bruno Lenzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruno Lenzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branden Shelton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Bruno Lenzi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After having played for 84 minutes, Clarence Makélélé managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clarence Makélélé was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Endri Caci charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Endri Caci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes K.F TIRANA got a freekick which was hit by Endri Caci. The long shot by Pacho Rino in the 94th minute really tested Branden Shelton's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 95 minutes into the game, one of K.F TIRANA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 97 minutes, ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ's Pacho Rino got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Branden Shelton. The ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
