C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qikiqtarjuaq FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Las Momias F. C.'s Veronica Ortiz got a free kick in the 12th minute. A hard shot by Earl Croteau from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got 毛平银's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The Las Momias F. C. fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Las Momias F. C.'s Aris Totenberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 20 minutes into the match, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo James came free, but Jason Achin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Patrick to maneuver through the defense. If Haroldo Lleir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Morin in the 27th minute of play forced Las Momias F. C.'s goalkeeper 毛平银 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Qikiqtarjuaq FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Earl Croteau to maneuver through the defense. During the 34th minute of the match Veronica Ortiz completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Veronica Ortiz a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Las Momias F. C. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Veronica Ortiz hit a great ball. Earl Croteau was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Eustaquio Patrick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but 毛平银 made a huge save. Jewel Coats received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 毛平银 came out and tried to block the shot, but Jewel Coats slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 40th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Las Momias F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Patrick came free, but 毛平银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruce Morin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. 毛平银 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erasmo James to strike the kick off in the second half. When Aris Totenberg fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Momias F. C.'s protests and gave Aris Totenberg a yellow card for diving instead. 毛平银 came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Bruce Morin. But to his dismay, Bruce Morin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 61st minute, Baldomiro Gorri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 62 minutes, Earl Croteau managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Earl Croteau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 63 minutes, Austin Oleary mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Qikiqtarjuaq FC and the Las Momias F. C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo James in the 64th minute of play forced Qikiqtarjuaq FC's goalkeeper Jason Achin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Las Momias F. C.'s 毛平银 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jewel Coats in the 67th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Las Momias F. C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Qikiqtarjuaq FC:s goal. Las Momias F. C.:s 毛平银 showed great skill when he stopped Earl Croteau:s penalty. 86 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Patrick notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Las Momias F. C.'s 毛平银. 毛平银 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the game, Fredric Clinton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Las Momias F. C. the free kick. 97 minutes into the game, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Bruce Morin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 毛平银 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Las Momias F. C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
