Aquiles Castulo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Cabral in the 12th minute of the match. Edgard Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Goiás Esporte Clube's Edgard Cabral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquiles Castulo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mané Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Orlondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Osmar de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Aquiles Castulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Matxin hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Erubiel Orlondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Cabral took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquiles Castulo. Aquiles Castulo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Tiberius Milaa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Orlondo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Efrain Mateo made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Goiás Esporte Clube's Christian Carioca. The audience was convinced that Edgard Cabral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquiles Castulo was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The throw-in from Fabio Matxin in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Goiás Esporte Clube's Christian Carioca. In the 76th minute, Edgard Cabral ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Castulo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Aquiles Castulo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 80th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Fabio Matxin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Edgard Cabral was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Goiás Esporte Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Aquiles Castulo was a little too slow when Edgard Cabral got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-7. When the match was over Goiás Esporte Clube could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MOEBIO throughout the match.
