Adem Müller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Éluard Coulomb made a huge save. 谢适阳 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Éluard Coulomb came out and tried to block the shot, but 谢适阳 slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. With his leg Éluard Coulomb managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when 广州太阳神足球俱乐部's 谢适阳 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Saubrigues from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Matthieu Macquet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 许西森 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of 广州太阳神足球俱乐部 booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Dagorne didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb got control of the ball when 洪骋亮 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Adem Müller ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Éluard Coulomb was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salomon Buffet was the one to do the kick off. But to his dismay, 于克明 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. In the 83rd minute, Alphonse Keita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, 谢适阳 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net.
