Cayetano Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Alvarez in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Pegaso got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Deunoro. Cayetano Fanuco made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Jorge Alvarez sent off a good shot on target. Cayetano Fanuco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Alvarez in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Nevada to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ★ Lobos FC ★ booed when Pegaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Remicio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Claudio Bentos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cayetano Fanuco was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Jorge Alvarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Cayetano Fanuco made a huge save. Geronimo Bernaldo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Jorge Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fermin Deunoro to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Pegaso's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Hurtado came free, but Cayetano Fanuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Mariano Alvarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Augusto Hurtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Fanuco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Hurtado in the 69th minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Cayetano Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Pegaso's Fermin Deunoro got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Pegaso's Cayetano Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Oporto in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Peña in the 76th minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Cayetano Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. Pegaso's Cayetano Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Hurtado in the 79th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Pegaso were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant ★ Lobos FC ★ side.
