Errecaborda AFC's Teo Lico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Teo Lico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Gaitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 45thth minute of the game Baltasar Gaitan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Errecaborda AFC's Teo Lico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Gaitan in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Lico saved Errecaborda AFC from getting behind. The corner ended in Eleuterio Ekain almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Errecaborda AFC's Teo Lico did a great save. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baltasar Gaitan made a kick off. The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Gaitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A nice corner shot did that Eusebio Gorosti got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teo Lico quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edelmiro Eriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mikelar in the 96th minute of the match. The Cable a Tierra supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cable a Tierra would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
