De Digitale Dribbelaars's Germano do Vale managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raul Enetz in the 3 minute of the game. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Sandaili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Sandaili. Nicolas Sandaili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Sandaili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Germano do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Sandaili having to interfere. After a rather tough play, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Pascal Baalman got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 23rd minute Gogo Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Vledder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nicolas Sandaili saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vélez Juniors's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tytus Grabski was slow to take the kick. During this time De Digitale Dribbelaars's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolas Sandaili. Nicolas Sandaili dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Sandaili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen in the 40th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Godoy made a kick off. Raul Enetz made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Amancio Godoy immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 56 minutes, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen came free, but Nicolas Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen in the 63rd minute of play forced Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Nicolas Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascal Vledder made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Maximino Navarro sent off a good shot on target. Raul Enetz made in the 69th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by De Digitale Dribbelaars's Germano do Vale. Nicolas Sandaili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristof Klompe in the 70th minute of play. Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Sandaili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristof Klompe in the 73rd minute of play. Kristof Klompe's late challenge caught a Vélez Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristof Klompe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th minute, Kristof Klompe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vélez Juniors's Ulises Sandaili was substituted for Amancio Godoy. A collision led to De Digitale Dribbelaars getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kristof Klompe hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Ulises Sandaili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. De Digitale Dribbelaars's Germano do Vale managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raul Enetz in the 79 minute of the game. Pascal Vledder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Iratzeder in the 85th minute of play. If Germano do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th match minute, Vélez Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Machado to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Kristof Klompe came free, but Nicolas Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Sandaili was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Vélez Juniors's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
