After 2 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Mangueira. Jataiense Futebol Clube were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zachary Figlewski took the corner. At last the ball reached Golaki Goiano at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ. 0-1. Xandinho Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golaki Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 17th minute, Alexander Milošević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Jataiense Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Diguinho Pereira. In the 19th minute, Ernesto Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Gonçalves in the 24th minute of play forced Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalkeeper Xandinho Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golaki Goiano in the 26th minute of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Golaki Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heintje Taffarel's late challenge caught a Jataiense Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heintje Taffarel helped the player get up and apologised. 30 minutes into the game, Jataiense Futebol Clube's Horácio Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xandinho Bomba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Seco during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Jonathan Seco hit a great ball. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Gonçalves in the 34th minute of play. After the first half Jataiense Futebol Clube were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jataiense Futebol Clube's Eurico Rezende was substituted for Luiz Fábio Passos. The wind increased when Silvério Barral made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Gugu Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xandinho Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Queiroz in the 58th minute of play. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Queiroz in the 60th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Gonçalves got free with Xandinho Bomba in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute, Wágner Fox ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xandinho Bomba was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Golaki Goiano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xandinho Bomba firmly grabbed it by the left post. 90 minutes into the match, Wágner Fox had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xandinho Bomba. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wágner Fox was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Xandinho Bomba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wágner Fox in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Renato Augusto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Zachary Figlewski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Wágner Fox scored 0-8 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xandinho Bomba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Jataiense Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ.
