Gerson Leão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's goalkeeper Moises Beti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Léo Bertassi. Benito Cresitobalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SRP-Laguna's Gerson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Cresitobalo in the 14th minute of play. After 19 minutes of play, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Bernardino Bartoli made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerson Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the SRP-Laguna defense, Benito Cresitobalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerson Leão. The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerson Leão should have stopped the shot. After having played for 29 minutes, Benito Cresitobalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Cresitobalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Donato da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Leonel Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SRP-Laguna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in SRP-Laguna fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Edson Palmeira hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Marcelino Nuno, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gerson Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardino Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Cresitobalo in the 46th minute of the match. The SRP-Laguna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Donato da Silveira made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18's Eliseo Pacho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerson Leão. Gerson Leão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. With 61 minutes on the clock, Ediberto Amorim commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 60th minute, one of SRP-Laguna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SRP-Laguna. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18. Marcelino Nuno stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gerson Leão. 0-7. Eliseo Pacho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Gerson Leão made a huge save. Gerson Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Bartoli in the 69th minute. Eliseo Pacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Arantes during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Moises Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Bernardino Bartoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Bernardino Bartoli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Gerson Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the SRP-Laguna defense, Eliseo Pacho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerson Leão. The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerson Leão should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute Benito Cresitobalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerson Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerson Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Gimenez in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95th minute Eliseo Pacho collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. When Léo Bertassi fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SRP-Laguna's protests and gave Léo Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Léo Bertassi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded StarwarsNoAbandona9-12-18 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SRP-Laguna.
