In the 8th minute Edgardo Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Enting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Enting made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Santo in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to Bairoletto FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Domingo Roderigo hit a great ball. Verwachting's Casper Enting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Bartolome in the 12th minute of play. When Aquiles Bartolome came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bairoletto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Bartolome couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Pascual Demario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Oscar Vaalman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pascual Demario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Verwachting's Casper Enting played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Bartolome in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Gerrit Melis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Bairoletto FC's Pascual Demario. Pascual Demario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristo Patrido's late challenge caught a Verwachting's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristo Patrido helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Bairoletto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Patrido to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Leonides Asteri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bairoletto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Asteri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Leonides Asteri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Aquiles Bartolome made a precise shot to the right of Casper Enting. Verwachting's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 40 minutes into the match, Bairoletto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerrit Melis came free, but Pascual Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Bairoletto FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Vaalman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 64 minutes into the match, Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Pascual Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerrit Melis. After 68 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Han Sibon. Gerrit Melis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Pascual Demario made a huge save. Pascual Demario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Lammers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bairoletto FC's Pascual Demario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Bairoletto FC from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Franck Bakhuis fired a really elegant long shot, but Pascual Demario threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 82nd minute Aquiles Bartolome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Enting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Bartolome came free, but Casper Enting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Gerrit Melis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pascual Demario. The goal made the score 2-5. The Bairoletto FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Verwachting were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
