The tension between the Liga de Quito and the FC BaLiSt players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Liga de Quito's Checa Cerezo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jairo Collador showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Dragușin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jairo Collador took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavril Cudalb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Liga de Quito getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Checa Cerezo hit a great ball. Jairo Collador made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Braica in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Eduardo Mascareñas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Iosif Panescu. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Nestor Ibaute managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liga de Quito's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Ibaute was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iosif Panescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jairo Collador made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Harhoiu in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Checa Cerezo in the 23rd minute of play forced FC BaLiSt's goalkeeper Iosif Panescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Răzvan Frumuzache hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Liga de Quito's Jairo Collador played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Dragușin in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Frumuzache in the 30th minute of play forced Liga de Quito's goalkeeper Jairo Collador to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Mascareñas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Eduardo Mascareñas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Harhoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Florin Braica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC BaLiSt's Mircea Irod was substituted for Laurențiu Encica. In the 70th minute, Gabriel Dragușin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeruko Freije kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emil Harhoiu in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Collador prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nestor Ibaute fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liga de Quito's protests and gave Nestor Ibaute a yellow card for diving instead. If Traian Muscaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emil Harhoiu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Jairo Collador when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC BaLiSt's Emil Harhoiu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jairo Collador in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 81 played minutes FC BaLiSt got a freekick which was hit by Gavril Cudalb. Traian Muscaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Collador having to interfere. Emil Harhoiu in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jairo Collador, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Liga de Quito's Jairo Collador proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Liga de Quito from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Traian Muscaș managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BaLiSt's supporters rose to their feet, but Traian Muscaș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
