The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrizio Caroselli during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabrizio Caroselli hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. With a little luck, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's Antonio Simone got control of the ball when Virgilio Romano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucas-Ignacio Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Lucas-Ignacio Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Albigasta FC booed when A.S. Ian Fenomeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Conte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match, Virgilio Romano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antonio Simone was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Virgilio Romano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antonio Simone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Fabrizio Caroselli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to A.S. Ian Fenomeni getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Amos Colucci hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Albigasta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas-Ignacio Cunha came free, but Urbano Bemabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Tello in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Simone saved A.S. Ian Fenomeni from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Lucas-Ignacio Cunha put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Urbano Bemabe. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 52 played minutes Albigasta FC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Distiratsu. 56 minutes into the match, A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Romano came free, but Antonio Simone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Simone came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Albigasta FC's Mauricio Tello. But to his dismay, Mauricio Tello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Tello in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Simone saved A.S. Ian Fenomeni from getting behind. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's attentive Anfilogino Tenaglia managed to snatch the ball when Aaron Distiratsu made a throw-in in the 68th minute of the game. If Virgilio Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Simone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Tello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Virgilio Romano came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Albigasta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Romano couldn't finish the play. Jorge Obeko charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Obeko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Jorge Obeko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Simone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Quentin in the 77th minute of the match. Jorge Obeko was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Jorge Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. A hard shot by Anthony Tonon from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Urbano Bemabe's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Virgilio Romano might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Simone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Romano ran back to his position shaking his head. Virgilio Romano charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Romano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 97th match minute, Albigasta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Romano to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Albigasta FC were the better team. Albigasta FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
