Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jan Driessens started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavius Amarandei during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Politehnica Timisoara! After having played for 5 minutes, Jan Driessens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dynamo Blitz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Driessens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute Jim Atsma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Mischie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Huub Genkenaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Mădălin Băcila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorin Lungu hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Julius van der Tol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Politehnica Timisoara getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ernest Eftimescu hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Cosmin Aluchei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Junior Stover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carsten Hebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Lucaci, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Junior Stover blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carsten Hebert having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roel Schiphouwer in the 30th minute of play forced FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Tiberiu Mischie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Teodor Lucaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsten Hebert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dynamo Blitz's goalkeeper Carsten Hebert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute Jan Driessens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Mischie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Emanuel Strugure got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Carsten Hebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Stover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Carsten Hebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Stover in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Junior Stover in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carsten Hebert saved Dynamo Blitz from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julius van der Tol during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carsten Hebert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Aluchei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Junior Stover ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carsten Hebert was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 72 minutes into the match, Dynamo Blitz's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Strugure came free, but Carsten Hebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Emanuel Strugure made a precise shot to the right of Carsten Hebert. Dynamo Blitz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After 77 minutes, Dorin Lungu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Politehnica Timisoara and the Dynamo Blitz players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dynamo Blitz booed when FC Politehnica Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Lungu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Aluchei in the 81st minute of play forced Dynamo Blitz's goalkeeper Carsten Hebert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Strugure scored 5-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carsten Hebert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carsten Hebert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Stover, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Martin Stigt kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Carsten Hebert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Strugure went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Politehnica Timisoara fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dynamo Blitz had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
