After a defensive mix-up in The Potters's zone, Wawrzyniec Sawicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Olof Gregersson came out of the goal and Wawrzyniec Sawicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francis Cummings hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Szczepan Kossakowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sonny Dam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mariusz Modrzewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, FC Cavia Pyskowice's goal looked a bit too open when Habakkuk Beardsley came free, but Mariusz Modrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariusz Modrzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habakkuk Beardsley, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, The Potters's Habakkuk Beardsley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Wawrzyniec Sawicki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Olof Gregersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, The Potters's goal looked a bit too open when Patryk Mietus came free, but Sven-Olof Gregersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacek Zielinski's late challenge caught a The Potters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacek Zielinski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Cavia Pyskowice getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jacek Zielinski hit a great ball. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Mariusz Modrzewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save FC Cavia Pyskowice from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, The Potters's Mariusz Modrzewski threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorge Rebello, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Endre Ábrahám made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Sawicki in the 52nd minute of play forced The Potters's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gregersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Cavia Pyskowice getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Bogumil Jarek hit a great ball. Habakkuk Beardsley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariusz Modrzewski having to interfere. Sven-Olof Gregersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patryk Mietus in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the FC Cavia Pyskowice defense, Habakkuk Beardsley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariusz Modrzewski. The FC Cavia Pyskowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariusz Modrzewski should have stopped the shot. The Potters made a substitution. Volmar Mitze replaced Endre Ábrahám. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Okey Cavia was substituted for Wawrzyniec Sawicki. The Potters's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Okey Cavia scored to the left of an out of position Sven-Olof Gregersson, making the score, 2-2. Jacek Zielinski kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. FC Cavia Pyskowice's Mariusz Modrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volmar Mitze in the 82nd minute of play. Patryk Mietus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Sven-Olof Gregersson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sven-Olof Gregersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Okey Cavia's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Jørgen Tønsager's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mariusz Modrzewski was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Mariusz Modrzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volmar Mitze in the 94th minute of play.
