An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Driessens in the 22nd minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Sandro Ormea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, DARAS's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Driessens came free, but Sandro Ormea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jan Driessens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biagio Pantano hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jan Driessens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandro Ormea was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Sandro Ormea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Driessens's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. If Ildefonso Frascuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
