When Marc Apelkvist fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DARAS's protests and gave Marc Apelkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Marc Apelkvist. Sandro Ormea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Mazza in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Vale Verde were awarded a corner. Flavinho Andrade went to the cornerflag to take it. Vale Verde's Flavinho Andrade was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sandro Ormea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. DARAS's Biagio Pantano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Flavinho Andrade in the 12 minute of the game. Sandro Ormea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão de Amorim in the 14th minute of play. When Basílio Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Vale Verde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Mazza couldn't finish the play. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Nenchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vale Verde booed when DARAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Frascuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes Vale Verde got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton Valle. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Nenchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Marc Apelkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Nenchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Ildefonso Frascuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luizão de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luizão de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Flavinho Andrade in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by DARAS's Biagio Pantano. Aron Dahlbom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Nenchev, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Toni Nenchev took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Aron Dahlbom to make any attempt to save it. After 58 played minutes DARAS got a freekick which was hit by Biagio Pantano. DARAS made a substitution. Rudi Voeler replaced Ildefonso Frascuelo. In the 59th match minute, DARAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biagio Pantano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Andrade in the 60th minute of play forced DARAS's goalkeeper Sandro Ormea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bayındır Seyfullah hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toni Nenchev in the 65th minute of play. DARAS's Boycho Barbutski was substituted for Honorio Arnas. Flavinho Andrade hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Luizão de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudi Voeler got free with Aron Dahlbom in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. DARAS's Sandro Ormea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moisés Peixoto in the 90th minute of play. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Nenchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes in the game, Toni Nenchev dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Basílio Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched DARAS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
