Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Campus Douro Academy's Leal Brito started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Américo Palha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Rolandsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Rolandsson in the 12th minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Américo Palha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Campus Douro Academy defense, Pål Askestät kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Américo Palha. The Campus Douro Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Américo Palha should have stopped the shot. Pål Askestät recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Américo Palha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Saba in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Rolandsson in the 25th minute of play forced Campus Douro Academy's goalkeeper Américo Palha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Average Joes booed when Campus Douro Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Average Joes's Victoriano Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel França in the 30th minute of play. Américo Palha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Saba in the 37th minute of play. The Average Joes fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Average Joes's Per Rolandsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Américo Palha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Askestät in the 42nd minute of the match. Pål Askestät took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Américo Palha. Américo Palha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arthur Saba to make the kick off. Campus Douro Academy's Américo Palha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pål Askestät in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Campus Douro Academy booed when Average Joes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Morat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Askestät came free, but Américo Palha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Campus Douro Academy's Américo Palha got control of the ball when Pål Askestät tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aaron Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Américo Palha having to interfere. Américo Palha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Rolandsson in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Campus Douro Academy's Paulo Pires got a free kick in the 71st minute. Américo Palha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Filipp Krupatkih. Arthur Saba kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Average Joes got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Saba. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Silban in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Américo Palha saved Campus Douro Academy from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Campus Douro Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Silban came free, but Américo Palha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Average Joes got a freekick which was hit by Jo Blanchaert. In the 92nd play minute Jo Blanchaert came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Américo Palha. 0-5. Jo Blanchaert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Américo Palha made a huge save. Average Joes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
