In the 16th minute, Moises Orti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Juventudes Libertárias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andriy Shevchenko to maneuver through the defense. Angelino Confesor charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelino Confesor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jayvier Esquide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Pålsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos de Lara in the 39th minute of play forced Trocha Media FC's goalkeeper Jayvier Esquide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juventudes Libertárias's Chepe Canido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Juventudes Libertárias from getting a goal against them.

Roman Quexal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chepe Canido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Juventudes Libertárias's Carlinhos de Lara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jayvier Esquide. That made the score 0-2 after 73 minutes of play. Chepe Canido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Orti in the 81st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Carlinhos de Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jayvier Esquide was relentless in the 86th minute of the game.
