The audience thought a goal was coming when Thorfinn Ranhauge got free with Phelipe Escarza in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boldklubben Skjold's Johnni Kirkskov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciceron Valdivielso in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Holder Behnert dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Phelipe Escarza, 1-0. Johnni Kirkskov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lonzo Corullon's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute, Cai Zheng Ming got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciceron Valdivielso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnni Kirkskov having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thorfinn Ranhauge to make the kick off. The supporters of Boldklubben Skjold booed when Deportivo Popolizio FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilesindo Colombres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phelipe Escarza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boye Dyrbæk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Boldklubben Skjold were the better team. Boldklubben Skjold's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
