The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the SV Bad Harzburg defense, Cai Zheng Ming kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Wiese. The SV Bad Harzburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Wiese should have stopped the shot. SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boye Dyrbæk in the 22nd minute of play. Tim Wiese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thorfinn Ranhauge, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Tim Wiese dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 26thth minute of the game Primitivo Gonzales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Bad Harzburg's Tim Wiese was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boye Dyrbæk hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Tim Wiese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Gonzales in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the SV Bad Harzburg defense, Cai Zheng Ming kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Wiese. The SV Bad Harzburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Wiese should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, SV Bad Harzburg's goal looked a bit too open when Thorfinn Ranhauge came free, but Tim Wiese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Boldklubben Skjold were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thorfinn Ranhauge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thorfinn Ranhauges short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Tim Wiese to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Johnni Kirkskov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halldor Sönksen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wawrzyniec Tychy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Wiese having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Boldklubben Skjold's Cai Zheng Ming sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tim Wiese narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tim Wiese had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Thorfinn Ranhauge from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Boldklubben Skjold's Johnni Kirkskov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halldor Sönksen in the 64th minute of play. Boldklubben Skjold's Boye Dyrbæk came free and shot a quick shot against goal 68 minutes in the game, fortunately Tim Wiese had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Cai Zheng Ming kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tim Wiese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. John Rambo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Tim Wiese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorfinn Ranhauge in the 78th minute of the match. SV Bad Harzburg's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Boye Dyrbæk scored to the left of an out of position Tim Wiese, making the score, 2-5. Tim Wiese was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Boye Dyrbæk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Boye Dyrbæk really showed his touch with that goal: 2-7. After 90 minutes, Larry von Stetten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Bad Harzburg and the Boldklubben Skjold players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Gonzales in the 92nd minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Tim Wiese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SV Bad Harzburg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boldklubben Skjold were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
