It was a well-played corner which Ief Fondria managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson Carvalho in the 7th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Ben Jaddon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Leonardo Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ben Jaddon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Steffe De Jonge kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes, PREZULO FC's Válbson Carvalho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ben Jaddon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PREZULO FC reached it. Ief Fondria kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, PREZULO FC's Wágner Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ben Jaddon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Imbreghts in the 26th minute of play forced PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Dida Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matheus de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ben Jaddon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus de Souza in the 34th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Ben Jaddon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when FC Ouagadougou National was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffe De Jonge didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Ouagadougou National getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jacques Lambert hit a great ball. Matheus de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ben Jaddon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacques Lambert lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 46th minute, one of FC Ouagadougou National:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Ouagadougou National. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Válbson Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válbson Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ben Jaddon made a huge save. In the 68th match minute, PREZULO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Madureira to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Armand Owerckx sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dida Brasil skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th minute, Ief Fondria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute Matheus de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Jaddon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Jaddon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson Carvalho in the 80th minute. Armand Owerckx hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC Ouagadougou National getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Steffe De Jonge hit a great ball. Ben Jaddon had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Leonardo Cavalcante from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mané Corrêa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ben Jaddon came out and tried to block the shot, but Mané Corrêa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 87th minute. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Leonardo Cavalcante took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Ben Jaddon to make any attempt to save it. When the final whistle sounded PREZULO FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Ouagadougou National.
