The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brice Bergman got free with Hieronim Milko in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Marshrose's Hieronim Milko threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jame Gilliam, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The throw-in from James Bonner in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Sójcze's Klement Gierlach. After 9 minutes, Milosz Grondzki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Sójcze and the Marshrose players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, FC Sójcze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milosz Grondzki to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, FC Sójcze's Stanislaw Majczyk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carson Kilgore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hieronim Milko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Charron in the 15th minute of play. Jason Charron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frances Tisserands short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Hieronim Milko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stanislaw Majczyk struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Carson Kilgore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sójcze. Brice Bergman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Hieronim Milko made a huge save. In the 29th minute of the match Marshrose got a corner. FC Sójcze's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jason Charron ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC Sójcze's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Jame Gilliam scored to the left of an out of position Hieronim Milko, making the score, 2-1. Carson Kilgore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Majczyk in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Aurèle Mélançon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute Stanislaw Majczyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carson Kilgore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Max Speed mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Sójcze and the Marshrose players grew even worse after the yellow card. Max Speed hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Milosz Grondzki to strike the kick off in the second half. Carson Kilgore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Majczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Jame Gilliam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hieronim Milko was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After some careless play in the FC Sójcze defense, Jame Gilliam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hieronim Milko. The FC Sójcze fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hieronim Milko should have stopped the shot. After 61 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Aurèle Mélançon. Hieronim Milko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jame Gilliam in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Charron in the 65th minute of play forced FC Sójcze's goalkeeper Hieronim Milko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Aurèle Mélançon. Lucjan Pozorski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carson Kilgore. Marshrose's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Sójcze's Hieronim Milko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frances Tisserand in the 76th minute of play. After 77 minutes FC Sójcze's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jason Charron who took care of the corner kick. Marshrose's Carson Kilgore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Majczyk in the 80th minute of play. After 83 played minutes FC Sójcze got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Marchewka. In the 94th minute, Jason Charron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
