São Paulo da Floresta's Denver Volante was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Martín Izquierdo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 41st minute Isaac Perrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Xande Cachorro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martín Izquierdo was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. In the 46th minute of the match São Paulo da Floresta got a corner. In the 54th minute, Benicio Izquierdo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xande Cachorro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Martín Izquierdo made a huge save. São Paulo da Floresta's Xande Cachorro suffered a concussion in the 56th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Severino Loco fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martin Palermo F.C.'s protests and gave Severino Loco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for São Paulo da Floresta. Maximiliano Pardo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Martín Izquierdo. 0-3. São Paulo da Floresta made a substitution. Igor Netto replaced 吕思耀. With a little luck, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo got control of the ball when Rony Pena tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Pena got free with Martín Izquierdo in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The São Paulo da Floresta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing São Paulo da Floresta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
