Salvadore González's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodriguinho Sergipano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Salvadore González's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguinho Sergipano was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Salvadore González put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rodriguinho Sergipano. Dário Domingues struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Edinho Lira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lupere FC - DMZ. After a defensive mix-up in Lupere FC - DMZ's zone, Salvadore González stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho Sergipano came out of the goal and Salvadore González tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvadore González in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Sergipano saved Lupere FC - DMZ from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Inácio Sampaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edinho Lira. TZILACATZIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inácio Sampaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Edinho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 2-1 became the score in the 37th minute when Edmundo Toscano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cláudio Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Lupere FC - DMZ's Rodriguinho Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Lupere FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. Salvadore González scored 2-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodriguinho Sergipano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Cláudio Loyola got a free kick in the 64th minute. Salvadore González received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rodriguinho Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Chico during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TZILACATZIN getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Javier Chico hit a great ball. TZILACATZIN made a substitution. Albino Calisto replaced Javier Chico. TZILACATZIN's Herminio Lizardi was substituted for Salvadore González. Javier Chico hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Edu das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Lupere FC - DMZ's Dário Domingues tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Herminio Lizardi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TZILACATZIN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. 92 minutes into the match, TZILACATZIN's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Loyola came free, but Edinho Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Cláudio Loyola who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TZILACATZIN's Edinho Lira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Loyola in the 95th minute of play forced TZILACATZIN's goalkeeper Edinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The TZILACATZIN players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
