After 31 minutes, Leon Marchand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Playa Malvín and the CE LAJEADENSE RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Leon Marchand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Renan da Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CE LAJEADENSE RS's protests and gave Renan da Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. Renan da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Leon Marchand was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Leon Marchand hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Renan da Fonseca came free, but Erasto Quizan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
