Callum Barratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yasar Bonnemain in the 6th minute of play. Leicester Lions's Callum Barratt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Marchlewicz in the 9th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Mike Wadham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kong Gang Zhan. Cremonese FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mike Wadham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Callum Barratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danko Brechbilder in the 18th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Ralph Masters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cremonese FC's Kong Gang Zhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Huey Porter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kong Gang Zhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Leicester Lions's Kong Gang Zhan threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ozzy Blythe, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 31 minutes into the match, Cremonese FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ozzy Blythe came free, but Kong Gang Zhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike Wadham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kong Gang Zhan having to interfere. Leicester Lions's Callum Barratt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Marchlewicz in the 37th minute of play. Kong Gang Zhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Masters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Batista made a kick off. In the 50th match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Dyson to maneuver through the defense. Kong Gang Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huey Porter, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The Leicester Lions fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Leicester Lions's Huey Porter looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mike Wadham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kong Gang Zhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Huey Porter. Callum Barratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yasar Bonnemain, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Cezary Marchlewicz came free, but Callum Barratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Danko Brechbilder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Callum Barratt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Wadham hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Kong Gang Zhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huey Porter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 played minutes Cremonese FC got a freekick which was hit by Chu Feng Sang. Leicester Lions's Luke Deveraux couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cremonese FC. Kong Gang Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Bettney, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Callum Barratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Callum Barratt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Batista in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cremonese FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Leicester Lions.
