Wilson Travassos made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Didi Mattos sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didi Mattos in the 7th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didi Mattos got free with Wilson Travassos in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 12 in the game by Didi Mattos from a close distance when the talented Wilson Travassos managed to make a qualified save. SANTOS F.C's players were relieved. When Marcelo Moraes fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SANTOS F.C's protests and gave Marcelo Moraes a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes SANTOS F.C got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Moraes. 15 minutes into the game, Eusébio Baptista recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wilson Travassos. Eusébio Baptista showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gonçalo da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SANTOS F.C's Marcelo Moraes got a free kick in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dino Saraiva in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Travassos saved SANTOS F.C from getting behind. Dino Saraiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Wilson Travassos made a huge save. Wilson Travassos was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Dino Saraiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dino Saraiva really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Saraiva in the 40th minute of play forced SANTOS F.C's goalkeeper Wilson Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th match minute, SANTOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Moraes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Floresta Club U18's Dino Saraiva got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When Floresta Club U18's Didi Mattos in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SANTOS F.C's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adan Urtsua to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Floresta Club U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Mattos to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute, Adan Urtsua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hudson de Souza was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Saraiva in the 55th minute of play forced SANTOS F.C's goalkeeper Wilson Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Didi Mattos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Travassos. SANTOS F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Didi Mattos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Wilson Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Baptista in the 59th minute of play. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Saraiva in the 59th minute of play. Wilson Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rdth minute of the game Didi Mattos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adan Urtsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson de Souza having to interfere. The SANTOS F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Travassos should have stopped the shot. After 75 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Beto Vinhas. Wilson Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Wilson Travassos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Didi Mattos's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After 81 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Isaltino Cordeiro. SANTOS F.C's Wilson Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Mattos in the 84th minute of play. After 86 played minutes Floresta Club U18 got a freekick which was hit by Beto Vinhas. When Floresta Club U18's Didi Mattos in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SANTOS F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Didi Mattos scored 7-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Travassos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Floresta Club U18 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
