After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Robby Van Linthaudt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Twierdza Osowiec's supporters rose to their feet, but Robby Van Linthaudt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chiquinho Guerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Zé Roberto Velasco managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jacque De Wit in the 21 minute of the game. In the 24th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Toscano to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, one of Twierdza Osowiec:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Twierdza Osowiec. When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Duarte Luz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Waut Vanden Berghe. Flavinho Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Waut Vanden Berghe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavinho Toscano. A collision led to Twierdza Osowiec getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Faustino Cordaryal hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Armando Orange kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Waut Vanden Berghe. That made the score 2-0 in the 43 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 51st minute, Flavinho Toscano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waut Vanden Berghe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Armando Orange in the 58th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Waut Vanden Berghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, Twierdza Osowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeno Hendrickx to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Twierdza Osowiec defense, Diego Armando Orange kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waut Vanden Berghe. The Twierdza Osowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waut Vanden Berghe should have stopped the shot. After 89 minutes Twierdza Osowiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Duarte Luz who took care of the corner kick. Falcão Orange kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ were the better team. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
