In the 13th match minute, Sakura Storm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zsolt Hubina to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Coritiba Foot Ball Club's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Dziechciowski came free, but Gery Pattimura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakura Storm's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marvelous Ronaldinho in the 18th minute. The corner ended in Marvelous Ronaldinho almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Coritiba Foot Ball Club's Gery Pattimura did a great save. Zakir Novruzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Garro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute 胡亦旭 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakir Novruzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Cláudio Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinícius Juniors kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Sakura Storm's goalkeeper Zakir Novruzov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wang Chen. Zakir Novruzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Chen in the 31st minute of play. After 37 minutes, Sacit Selmi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sakura Storm and the Coritiba Foot Ball Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th minute, Sacit Selmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Sakura Storm's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Garro came free, but Zakir Novruzov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Wang Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zakir Novruzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Garro made the kick off in the second half. Sakura Storm's Zakir Novruzov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Nascimento in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Sakura Storm booed when Coritiba Foot Ball Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lobo Londrina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zsolt Hubina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zak Tan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Lobo Londrina didn't quite understand what happened when in the 72 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Gery Pattimura came out of the goal and Tadeusz Dziechciowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zakir Novruzov came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Coritiba Foot Ball Club's 胡亦旭. But to his dismay, 胡亦旭 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 88 minutes into the match, Sakura Storm's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Chen came free, but Zakir Novruzov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Coritiba Foot Ball Club were the better team. Coritiba Foot Ball Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
