Lucio Hernandez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, one of Nina fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Neil Mar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Lucio Hernandez made a huge save. Nina fc's Lucio Hernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Nina fc from getting a goal against them. Augusto Silviano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Nina fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Nina fc's goalkeeper Lucio Hernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by César Rosa. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, César Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marzagão's supporters rose to their feet, but César Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Hernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neil Mar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Nina fc's goalkeeper Lucio Hernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neil Mar. If César Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil Mar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Nina fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marzagão:s goal. The referee gave Marzagão a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cleiton Paulista, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Nina fc's Lucio Hernandez. 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jose Harriet to strike the kick off in the second half. César Rosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucio Hernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Lucio Hernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César Rosa went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 61 played minutes Nina fc got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Munio. In the 63rd minute Neil Mar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neil Mar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lucio Hernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Neil Mar came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Marzagão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neil Mar couldn't finish the play. Lucio Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Alberto Prado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucio Hernandez. Nina fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Prado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 83rd minute, Remo Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Silvanito kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Remo Borges was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marzagão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nina fc the free kick. After 94 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Remo Borges. There was no doubt that Marzagão were the better team. Marzagão's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
