With a left leg Themistoklis Saveris saved Ciruel Academy from getting behind. Rob Poelman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulryk Brzeszczak in the 11th minute. After 15 minutes of play, Beetje Moe Re-United's Billy van Loen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Themistoklis Saveris was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 17th minute, Teodoro Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Themistoklis Saveris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Hardering, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rob Poelman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coronel Durango, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The corner led Ciruel Academy's Ulryk Brzeszczak to fire away a dangerous shot which Rob Poelman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ciruel Academy's Zuberbuhler Gordo got a free kick in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans-Cees Ricksen in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Themistoklis Saveris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciruel Academy's Themistoklis Saveris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bill Hertog in the 28th minute of play. Hans-Cees Ricksen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Themistoklis Saveris having to interfere. Rob Poelman made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Coronel Durango sent off a good shot on target. Crispin Klander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Rob Poelman made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hans-Cees Ricksen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bill Hertog in the 66th minute of play forced Ciruel Academy's goalkeeper Themistoklis Saveris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Bill Hertog tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Themistoklis Saveris saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rob Poelman had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Mircea Balint's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. José Luis Torrente's late challenge caught a Beetje Moe Re-United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 94th minute Altan Işınsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themistoklis Saveris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Beetje Moe Re-United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
