Wilhelm Säv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaunius Petkevičius in the 12th minute of play. Aquiles Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Aquiles Eguen was shown his second yellow card after 19 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of FC Karamba booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Eguen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Wickander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Giannis Gounaris skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yiyo Blea in the 26th minute of play forced Sundens BK's goalkeeper Wilhelm Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Oskaras Matulaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Eddi Ramkilde came free, but Wilhelm Säv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Karamba's Yiyo Blea got a free kick in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jago Ballesteros made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC Karamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Merūnas Malevičius to maneuver through the defense. Kastytis Kundrotas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Giannis Gounaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Ove Lindmark, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goalkeeper Wilhelm Säv had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaunius Petkevičius. Wilhelm Säv didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddi Ramkilde went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Albert Gernberg's late challenge caught a FC Karamba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Gernberg helped the player get up and apologised. Albert Gernberg kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Wilhelm Säv made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaunius Petkevičius in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Albert Gernberg had to leave the field with a concussion. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Jaunius Petkevičius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilhelm Säv was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddi Ramkilde in the 83rd minute of play forced Sundens BK's goalkeeper Wilhelm Säv to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Karamba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
