Dan Nyberg kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Guntademaro Goyenechea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benne Cider. Lobster if's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guntademaro Goyenechea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Benne Cider stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guntademaro Goyenechea's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Fırat Çakıroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, General Velásquez's Rolf Holmgren got control of the ball when Dan Nyberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lobster if's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustav Tidéksson was slow to take the kick. During this time General Velásquez's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Gustav Tidéksson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lobster if's Benne Cider did a great save. Rolf Holmgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fırat Çakıroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Dan Nyberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobster if's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave General Velásquez the free kick. A collision led to Lobster if getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Dan Nyberg hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guntademaro Goyenechea in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benne Cider saved Lobster if from getting behind. Bernardo Genovesi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The long shot by Alonzo Cruz in the 35th minute really tested Rolf Holmgren's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Fırat Çakıroğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Lobster if players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. General Velásquez were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guntademaro Goyenechea was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Irigoyen got free with Benne Cider in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as General Velásquez's Guntademaro Goyenechea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benne Cider. That made the score 0-2 after 53 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Guntademaro Goyenechea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benne Cider was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Gustav Tidéksson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Lobster if's Benne Cider didn't even have to move. Guntademaro Goyenecheas short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Benne Cider to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rolf Holmgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, General Velásquez's Bernardo Genovesi got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute, Dan Nyberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Lobster if supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching General Velásquez's performance. The match ended with a win for General Velásquez.
