After a defensive mix-up in Rembertów DJs's zone, Luís Fabiano Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Dudek came out of the goal and Luís Fabiano Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After recieving a nice pass, Rembertów DJs's Diego de Senna tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 10 minutes, Ludomil Frankowski made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. A A Arizona's Rodolfo Siqueira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute, Damazy Obuchowicz made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Siqueira. A A Arizona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 25th minute, A A Arizona's Luís Fabiano Branco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After having played for 30 minutes, Damazy Obuchowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rembertów DJs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damazy Obuchowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Valério Paranaense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerzy Dudek was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Luís Fabiano Branco charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Fabiano Branco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to A A Arizona getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Branco hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in A A Arizona's zone, Tymoteusz Rutecki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 45th minute Chicão Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Dudek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valério Paranaense got free with Jerzy Dudek in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valério Paranaense to make the kick off. Rodolfo Siqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pan Yi Gang in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the A A Arizona defense, Damazy Obuchowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Siqueira. The A A Arizona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Siqueira should have stopped the shot. The supporters of A A Arizona booed when Rembertów DJs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. D.J. Czarny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludomil Frankowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Siqueira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludomil Frankowski ran back to his position shaking his head. After 67 played minutes Rembertów DJs got a freekick which was hit by Tomasz Hajto. Mauro Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Diego de Senna struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Rodolfo Siqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rembertów DJs. After 76 played minutes A A Arizona got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Rodrigues. With a little luck, A A Arizona's Rodolfo Siqueira got control of the ball when Ludomil Frankowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerzy Dudek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Obuchowicz in the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ludomil Frankowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rembertów DJs's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludomil Frankowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Siqueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tymoteusz Rutecki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Siqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. With 95 minutes on the clock, Fabinho Cearense commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 95 minutes into the game, one of A A Arizona:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Rodolfo Siqueira, was totally fooled by Rembertów DJs's Tymoteusz Rutecki, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Rembertów DJs's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
