Mithat Hirfanlı started the match with the kick off. Frits Schrage's late challenge caught a Lions Of Turks's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frits Schrage helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, The Dalwhinnie Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frits Schrage to maneuver through the defense. İlhami Özselen kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Nihat Candar charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nihat Candar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lions Of Turks getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nihat Candar hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Çelik Adam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lions Of Turks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Dalwhinnie Boys the free kick. Çelik Adam hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Bülent Şemsifer came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by The Dalwhinnie Boys's Izaak Pierewaaijer. But to his dismay, Izaak Pierewaaijer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lions Of Turks's Bülent Şemsifer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Schrage in the 21st minute of play. The Dalwhinnie Boys's Bennie Robben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artaç Ünsan in the 27th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Henry Kleinman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bülent Şemsifer. Lions Of Turks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henry Kleinman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Artaç Ünsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İlhami Özselen took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bennie Robben. Bennie Robben dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

The supporters of Lions Of Turks booed when The Dalwhinnie Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frits Schrage didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the The Dalwhinnie Boys defense, Artaç Ünsan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bennie Robben. The The Dalwhinnie Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bennie Robben should have stopped the shot. In the 57th match minute, Lions Of Turks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlhami Özselen to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, Izaak Pierewaaijer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Bülent Şemsifer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 70th match minute, Lions Of Turks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artaç Ünsan to maneuver through the defense. Bülent Şemsifer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerwin Bogarde in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Lions Of Turks's İlhami Özselen got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Lions Of Turks's Bülent Şemsifer got control of the ball when Henry Kleinman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bülent Şemsifer was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Henry Kleinman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henry Kleinman really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Lions Of Turks's Nihat Candar got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in The Dalwhinnie Boys's zone, Artaç Ünsan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennie Robben came out of the goal and Artaç Ünsan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 played minutes The Dalwhinnie Boys got a freekick which was hit by Hans Wegman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frits Schrage got free with Bülent Şemsifer in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched The Dalwhinnie Boys eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
