Älta BK's Hjalmar Hedvall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Lia in the 40th minute of play. Sonny Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Eleuterio Aztore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Arnold Bruggink scored 3-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eleuterio Aztore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, Monte Hermoso Beach could leave the field as winners, despite Älta BK having more of the ball for most of the match.
