He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FA Sandtown reached it. Drake Barclay took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerzy Duszenski. Jerzy Duszenski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Herbert Mcroberts's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Jerzy Duszenski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jack Alves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerzy Duszenski. That made the score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Mcroberts came free, but Jerzy Duszenski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, FA Sandtown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Zahemski to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Herbert Mcroberts kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerzy Duszenski. That made the score 6-0 in the 42 minute of play. Jerzy Duszenski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herbert Mcroberts's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Herbert Mcroberts made the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerzy Duszenski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerzy Duszenski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Mcroberts, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. A collision led to FA Sandtown getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Zbyszek Zahemski hit a great ball. FA Sandtown's Jerzy Duszenski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Mcroberts in the 86th minute of play.
